Transition

It’s hard leaving home and living in a school – especially if you’re only used to Primary School!

 

Our Transition Class is designed to help the younger boys settle and form relationships with each other and staff quickly.

 

The boys have their own designated classroom and open area, plus a dedicated teacher and Teaching Assistant for most of their timetable.

 

Boys are encouraged to develop social, academic and personal skills in the security of a caring and consistent structure.

 

They have time to talk, work and enjoy a range of activities, based on personal progress, using the Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning materials, together with National Curriculum objectives.

 

They can, and do, succeed!
